I was perusing this week’s flavorpill NYC to see what’s up this weekend. As I scrolled down the events passing by each weekday header looking for the Friday label I hit Saturday. “Hmmm, what happened to Friday?” I wondered. Oh of course, that label is “sponsored” so the Friday heading is buried in the ad. I can see how this might seem like a good idea to the publication but I would hope their watching a user try to find where the Friday events began would dissuade them of that notion. It’s a seductive idea. I’m surprised I haven’t seen it happen elsewhere. |
