Handheld Media
Code Style: Media monitor has details about what media specific code will irritate particular desktop web browsers. Not a whole lot on handheld css tips, but it does offer some handy test pages. They seem to be targeted at testing the reaction of desktop web browsers to handheld media declarations, though.
The W3C has a mobile profile test suite, but the style sheets are brought in by declaring the media type to be “screen” instead of “handheld” or one of the other recognized media types. Well, once I have it all sussed out I can show off by taking screenshots of my work on Windows CE devices with the free Pocket Screen Capture just like Ben did for his thorough and well written Handheld Report. |
